How to Get Coaching Clients in 30 Days (The Easiest Way for Enlightened Entrepreneurs to Succeed)

Who else is a life coach, teacher, trainer, mentor or passion professional and needs MORE clients? Do you have tons and tons of passion and natural expertise, yet struggle to find people to pay you for your gifts? Have you been ripped off, scammed or just downright disappointed with the online marketing strategies you’ve tried so far? Are you fed up with trying to get fans, friends and followers on Facebook and social media….and know there MUST be a better way?

The truth is, if any of the above sounds familiar, the GOOD news is, you are not alone!

More than any other group of people, “coaches”, or those who value CONTRIBUTION as much as cash, struggle to find a home online. (mostly because of the get rich quick “gurus”, and the new age nonsense that masquerades as marketing mentorship wherever we look).

I’m going to give you a super simple system that WILL revolutionize your business in the next 30 days if you apply it. I don’t want you to take my word for it, though… instead, I challenge you to be SKEPTICAL, and if it resonates with you, apply the ideas to your own business and watch it grow.

Ready?

I call this entire system “The Content Community Continuum”, and it works through incorporating 6 simple steps.

  1. You need:
  2. Content (articles like this one)
  3. Character (your public personality)
  4. Community (your subscribers)
  5. Conversation (your email sequence)
  6. Curriculum (your coaching offer)
  7. Conversion (the process by which your turn strangers into subscribers, and subscribers into sales!)

That’s the whole thing…..and it works in any niche under the sun like magic, and it WILL work in yours.

How does it look when executed?

Very simple.

You create content that is designed to create a community. (build your list).

You create a conversation with your community that deepens your relationship, rapport and genuine trust.

You create a curriculum, or coaching offer that is appealing to a small subset of your overall community. (You only need to convert 2-5% of your list into clients to do VERY well in most markets…..most “gurus” sell less than 1/2 of 1 percent).

That’s it. If you write 4 articles like this one a day, and follow all of the steps above, you WILL have your first clients in LESS than 30 days…..I 100% guarantee it. Remember, this article took ME about 12 minutes to write, and I’m doing it while watching the last episode of “Dexter” in the background and eating leftover thai food from yesterday. All of this can be done 100% PART time……and with 2012 only a few short weeks away, the time to start is NOW!

Coaching for Life Is for Fools

Football players have one.

Kobe Bryant has one.

Gisele has one.

Justin Beiber has one.

Heck, even the frighteningly grown-up-too-soon mini, toddler beauty queens have one.

What is it?

Coaches.

It’s no surprise that some of the best, most successful people in life (and not just business success) have coaches, but “they can afford it,” right?

Well, what about the people working a job they hate, coming home stressed to the bone, blowing up at the kids, dreading the day of the week when the bills need to be paid knowing there won’t be enough money, thinking that life has been dealt, so now it’s a struggle to get to the grave?

If you’re cool with that, than you are right, coaching for life is for fools!

But, if you’re ready to be a minority…a part of a minority of people who are abundantly happy and joyous (even in tough times), prosperous, and healthy, then listen up!

For the record, I won’t be pompous enough to preach on a topic without being completely transparent.

I started working with life, business and spiritual coaches just a few short years ago. That said, it has now become my mission, my purpose, to spread the word on how critical it is to have one.

Coaching for life is something that is so often overlooked, however, such a critical aspect of living a fulfilling and abundant life.

Just a few short years ago, I, personally was suffering from unfulfilled feelings in life, as well as, a lack of focus on what to do for a living. I wasn’t unhappy. I wasn’t depressed. I was just…

…unfulfilled in life!

Going through the motions.

So, I started reading books. All kinds. Self-development, business development, mindset books, and I started to gather an energetic momentum.

I started taking action on some things, but I was still struggling in areas.

Those areas being:

Finding clarity with my new direction.

Finding actionable steps to move forward.

Keeping my mindset in the right place when my circumstances were challenging and volatile.

It was simply through serendipitous opportunities that I was introduced to a Life coach. I had no idea what a life coach was, but felt very powerfully that I needed what he had to offer.

The experience was nothing short of amazing. It certainly wasn’t all fun and fantastic, though!

I cried a lot as I was taught to notice my limiting beliefs. To understand where the beliefs came from and how these beliefs were keeping me in the endless cycle of going from job to job, buying stuff I couldn’t afford, taking my frustrations out on my family, etc.

It was a rude awakening from everything that I had known to be my reality…my made up reality.

Coaching for life also included business coaching. I thought I was so smart. I’d gone to college! I’d read all the books. What else could anyone teach me?

Hmph!

A shit-ton!

Being mentored by businessmen and women who have earned millions in the entrepreneurial realm taught me, yes important business skills, but more importantly, how they thought, how they acted, how they lived.

That was a college education in and of itself.

Then the spiritual mentors showed up in my life.

I have learned the science of how the mind works.

I have learned to understand how I have created the circumstances, the people and the things in my life that I currently have.

I have also learned how to create better, more inspired circumstances, people and things in my life because I understand (and keep perfecting) how to use my mind to do so through prosperity principles.

My life has transformed so quickly as a result…in many different ways because I made the decision to find coaching for life…my life.

In today’s world, there has never been more cases of depression, sickness, and poverty in our world. It’s not about the economy. It’s about how we are thinking about the economy and the world today.

Investing in coaching can be scary…the first time.

Once an investment is made and that first golden nugget hits your head…the first time you feel like you’ve physically been slapped upside the head by a coach’s word, you’ll never worry about the investment again.

You’ll keep making it…

…because that “word slap” will be the first time that someone is brutally honest with you and makes you realize a lie, a limiting belief, that has sat deep within you for most of your life. The first time you recognize that and feel it lifting out of you, you will feel why life is different.

You’ll see the broad scope of what your life will be with more work.

You’ll be hungry for more of those moments.

Coaching for life for fools? Heck no….it’s foolish not to consider it.

Vidette Vanderweide is a gifted teacher giving her students the tools and principles to effectively reprogram their limiting beliefs into powerful thoughts which attract abundance in all aspects of life, including wealth.  She is the creator of the free training course, Ditch Your Lies and Be Rich!

Therapist as Life Coach: An Introduction for

Therapist as Life Coach: An Introduction for

41pznRXZDIL. SL160 Therapist as Life Coach: An Introduction for

Description:

In 2006, U.S. News and World Report listed coaching as one of the 10 top growing professions.

The first edition of Therapist as Life Coach, published in 2002, anticipated this trend, and since its publication it has become a standard for therapists who wish to transition or expand their practices into life coaching. Pat Williams and Deborah C. Davis have finally revised their classic practice-building book for today’s therapists and future coaches. Every chapter in this second edition has been updated and rewritten, reflecting the growth of the coaching field and its increasing appeal to not only therapists, but all helping professionals.

The book begins by exploring the history of the coaching movement and shows how society is hungry for life coaches. The second part of the book explains in detail the differences and similarities between coaching and therapy, discusses the coaching relationship, and considers some of the skills therapists will need to learn and unlearn in order to reclaim their joyfulness about their work. Professional transition tools such as developing and marketing your practice and honing your coaching skills are discussed at length in Part Three. The final section moves beyond basic life coaching to introduce coaching specialties such as corporate coaching, offers self-care strategies for life coaches, and peeks into the future of life coaching. There is new material throughout, including an overview of recent coaching developments, updated liability concerns, new business opportunities, and a new section on the research about coaching.

Coaching gives practitioners the opportunity to break free of managed care and excessive reliance on the insurance industry and to work with a wide range of clients—specifically, those who are not suffering from mental illness but, rather, seeking to maximize their life potential. This book will help you enter this lucrative and personally enriching world with the skills and knowledge you need to build a successful coaching practice.

7 Powerful Reasons for Becoming a Life Coach

Why become a life coach? You may find yourself interested in learning how to help someone improve their life, or you could want to learn a new skill. Here are seven powerful reasons that will help you decide whether or not being a life coach is for you.

1. Life coaching: it’s not just about goal setting.

There’s an assumed belief that all a life coach does is to help people to achieve their goals. To some extent this may be true, primarily life coaching is about living a more successful life and a lot of how people define success comes from being able to achieve their goals.

But life coaching is a broad field. How much so? Well, would you define yourself as a one track person? Of course you wouldn’t. Your life has many facets, you play several roles and many of these have nothing to do with goal setting.

When you become a life coach, you bring your unique life experience along. There’s a unique purpose for which you are suited and because of this, you are probably well equipped to help others in ways that nobody else can.

Your challenge is in finding what that is and then working diligently towards meeting your call.

2. Life coaching improves people’s lives.

A lot of people look at life coaching wearily. There are plenty of charlatans promising their share of ‘pie in the sky’ and a world viewed through rose tinted glasses that call themselves “life coaches.”

But there’s ample proof that coaching improves people’s lives. In the executive coaching field, companies have long known that working with a coach not only makes perfect business sense, but that it also generates a huge return on investment (as much as 300%.)

Done right, life coaching can be a catalyst for change. In the process of being coached, people report improvements not only in the area they’re working on but the benefits frequently spread to many other spheres.

Change is never easy for most people; but no matter how hard it is, it’s one thing we can count on to happen. This day in age, life coaching may not only be “nice-to-have” but a necessity.

3. You can help people step out of their comfort zones and work with change

While we’re on the subject, a lot of us recognize that if our lives are going to improve, we’re probably going to have to change ourselves. Whether that means that we learn new habits, acquire new ways of thinking or just look at things differently, we’re going to have to step out of our comfort zones.

This is frightening to a lot of people and since we have a tendency to fall back on the way we’ve always done things, it’s what keeps us from really changing for the better.

As a life coach, you can frequently spot those difficult areas where it’s clear that change is needed and then help your client recognize a path to breaking through their limiting beliefs.

4. You’re helping people find solutions

Are your clients problem or solution focused? Most people who have never worked with a life coach tend to believe that coaching is a tool to help them find and correct problems. And while they will probably identify problems to address, it isn’t necessarily the focus of the work they’ll do.

There’s a shift in perspective when you focus your client towards finding solutions; and frequently, it’s this change that opens the door to lasting benefits.

When coaching focuses on finding solutions, it helps people get what they want more of in life and at work. By identifying and working to achieve their greater goals, it allows them to live better lives. A coach isn’t there to “fix” problems, but to help your clients find a more compelling future.

5. Life Coaching can be a quick way to get positive change

One of the big advantages of the coaching process, is that is has evolved by taking the strategies and techniques of other fields, such as business, psychology, education, and using them as tools for change.

And although coaching is not for everyone, it’s a flexible and adaptable way of achieving results. By using what’s been proven to work, people can and do change quickly when they work with a life coach.

As a coach, you’ll help your clients explore and come up with the best choices for them based on where they are and the vision they have for their future. Coaches are experts at the process of changing behavior, which is much more valuable than giving instructions.

Between two and four 20 to 60 minute sessions per month is a tiny investment of time for achieving results.

6. You can make a great living as a coach

Some executive coaches cost up to $3,500 for an hour of coaching according to the Harvard Business School. While there is a gap between what executive coaches and life coaches make in practice, life coaching is growing as people seek to continually improve their lives and wellness, and there is money to be made.

Most personal coaches charge a monthly retainer of between $500 to $2,000 a month; when you do the math, if you coach just five people a week and charge a conservative $125 an hour for 4 sessions a month, you’d be making an extra $2,500 a month. And as you gain experience, you can also take on more clients of charge more for your coaching.

Bottom line, becoming a coach is an investment that can produce monetary rewards above and beyond the cost.

7. Being a life coach helps your personal and professional development.

There is no quicker way to grow, than to help others grow. The value of helping others achieve their goals is that your learning is naturally accelerated as you learn from your clients and them from you. It’s that simple.

This may be a powerful change in how you view the coaching relationships that you have with your clients; however, this one change is probably the most important step you’ll take in your personal and professional development.

In summary, these are just a few of the reasons why becoming a life coach is a good idea if you choose it as a career. Of course, there are many more and in any case learning some coaching skills is always a benefit for practically anything you do that is related to helping people.

Find a treasure trove of personal development tips and simple and effective ideas for becoming a life coach that you can start using right now. Head down to www.what-is-coaching.com today.

What Is Next for Your Life?

What is next for you? When I ask this question, I am asking, what is it that you desire for your life? Many of us have things that we want and aspire to do, but never take the time out to plan and map out how we go about attaining what we want. I challenge you to ponder upon this: everything and everyone that has been created took a process. Before you were born, it took a process in order for you to get here. It took nine months for you to completely form; for your organs, extremities, brain to form completely to function to its fullest. So why do you go through life without carefully considering your desires and the path that it will take to acquire it? Answer these questions:

What do I want? Answer this question with confidence. Whether you desire marriage, a business, more money, relationships, a home, or to lose weight. Be absolutely sure that this is what YOU want and not based upon someone else’s influence. This is key in order to truly embrace and enjoy what you want.

Why do I want it? Simple question, yet powerful. Oh too often, we make unconscious decisions based upon other people’s opinion. So ensure that this is your desire, your want, and your decision.

What is the necessary process in order to acquire it? Consider what you need to do in order to attain what you want. What is/are the necessary process or processes? Also think about who you need in order to help you in this matter. What kind of professional expertise that you may need. Consider the first step that you need to take and TAKE that first step even with fear. Do it anyway.

Who do I need to become to truly receive what I am asking for? We all ask for things and never consider who we need to become in order to attain it and maintain it. For example, when you want to lose weight, if you currently have bad eating habits, you cannot expect to lose 20 pounds with that same mindset. Something in you has to change. So as you are considering what you want, think about what in you needs to change in order to acquire it and maintain it. The road to success is not just about the things and people that you acquire along the way, but about who you become in the process.

JaNee’ Yeates is a confidence and purpose life coach, mentor and speaker who works with women entrepreneur & professional women to help them eliminate fear & increase their self confidence so that they can make more money, get the promotion of their dreams and live life by their design.
