Kindle Fire Tablet – Color Electronic Book Reader From Amazon

Kindle Fire

Following the success of Kindle e-book reader, Amazon is planned to release its latest electronic device, the Kindle Fire. Quite different from the older versions of Amazon Kindle, this Fire Tablet from Amazon is not only an e-book reader; it is also a tablet computer. The release of this latest tablet computer was announced on September 28, 2011.

The Fire tablet will be the first Amazon Kindle model that does not use Amazon’s signature screen display the E Ink Pearl. However, the tablet will use a color 7 inch IPS gorilla glass display. The Fire display resolution is 1,024 x 600 at 169 ppi with 16 million colors. This multi-touch screen also uses the technology of capacitive touch sensitive.

The measurement of this Amazon’s Fire tablet will resemble the Kindle Keyboard e-book reader. While Kindle Keyboard measures 7.5 x 4.8 x 0.34 inch, Kindle Fire will measure 7.5 x 4.7 x 0.45 inch. Speaking of weight, the Fire model will be less heavy than the Kindle DX. Fire will only weigh 14.6 ounce.

Using this product, you will acquire a unique browsing experience thanks to the Amazon cloud-accelerated browser. This browser has revolutionary technology which brings you to a faster Internet browsing. Traditionally, to access a page, a website browser will gather 80 files from 13 different domains. This is a heavy work and takes time. Meanwhile, Amazon Silk does not work that way. Amazon Web Services cloud will stack and push the pieces of information gathered to have better, quicker Internet access. This Amazon Silk’s latest technology is called the “split browser” architecture.

Upgraded from the old generation of other Kindle models, the Fire model is more improved in terms of internal memory. While other Kindle e-book readers only have 4 GB of memory or holding 3,500 e-books at the most, Kindle Fire will have 8 GB of memory; enough for saving various media contents. 8 GB equals 6,000 e-books, 800 songs, 80 apps, or 10 movies.

The 7 inch color Kindle Fire will be operated by Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It uses the 1 GHz Texas Instruments OMAP 4 dual core processor and 512 MB of RAM. Additionally, it also has type B Micro USB 2.0 port and 3.5 mm stereo jack. To connect to the Internet, the Kindle Fire makes use of the 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity.

The Amazon Kindle Fire is scheduled to be released on November 15, 2011. To be one of the first people to ever acquire this amazing Amazon product, you can place an early order on Amazon. Kindle Fire will sell US$199 for pre-order.
